De publicatie Sense and sensitivity, how the Dutch deal with delicate heritage questions is november 2010 verschenen ter gelegenheid van de ICOM-conferentie in Shanghai. De bundel essays en actuele voorbeelden is tot stand gekomen door een samenwerking tussen ICOM Nederland en Erfgoed Nederland. Het onderwerp is omstreden erfgoed: ethische vragen rond gevoelige erfgoedkwesties.

Deze aantrekkelijk ogende, inhoudelijk toegankelijke en prikkelende publicatie sluit aan bij het thema van de General Conference: Museums and Social Harmony. Het boekje bevat zeven artikelen van specialisten op het gebied van gevoelige kwesties in de museum-/erfgoedsector. Elk artikel wordt geïllustreerd met drie good practices. ICOM-Nederland heeft voor deze publicatie nadrukkelijk veelbelovende jonge erfgoedprofessionals de kans gegeven te publiceren.
