The Netherlands Culture Fund
The Ministries of Foreign Affairs and of Education, Culture and Science are jointly responsible for international cultural policy, which helps to raise the profile of the Netherlands abroad. The budget for international cultural policy comes from the Netherlands Culture Fund. The Netherlands Culture Fund has four key aims: the Netherlands as a cultural free haven, regional priorities, common cultural heritage and large-scale cultural events.
The International Visitors Programme is one of the activities of the Netherlands Culture Fund. This programme aims at strengthening the Netherlands' international cultural profile and establishing mutual and sustainable cultural relations.
